About us:
Way Down South is a traditional American Bbq joint in the heart of Oslo in Norway. Our mission is to bring the tradition and spirit of American Southern hospitality and smoked meats way up north. In the last few years, it has become one of the most established barbecue restaurants in northern Europe in terms of growth, quality, and public success. We offer premium smoked meats including Brisket, Beef Short Ribs, St. Louis Pork Ribs, Pulled Pork, Smoked Chicken, & Sausages along with classic sides and desserts.
Job Description, Duties, Requirements:
As the line chef you’re responsible for ensuring the food is prepared and cooked efficiently while maintaining quality. You will be part of an accomplished team of chefs. Requirements:

Must be proficient in written and spoken English

Experience with food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques

Attention to detail, cleanliness, and food procedure

Good understanding of food service management principles

Ability to work well under pressure without compromising quality

Preferred - degree in Culinary science or related certificate
